Audioscan Verifit2 and Axiom owners can download a complimentary copy of the 2021.1 software by logging into customer.audioscan.com.
2021.1 Software Update highlights include:
Simulated Venting for Speechmap test box – Offers multiple, estimated, on-ear venting transforms to “improve the precision of simulated real-ear measurements” with vented fittings. Clinicians can select from various venting configurations typical of custom-fit and instant-fit earpieces.
Comparison Curves in Speechmap (Verifit2 only) – Set a previously measured Speechmap test as a shadow curve for comparison to a new measurement. Helps enable “efficient, easy comparison of various device settings and/or hearing instruments,” according to the company.
Audioscan Noah Module Improvements – Save Speechmap test results in the Audioscan Noah module for later data transfer to the Verifit2 as comparison curves for follow-up sessions. In addition, audiograms, RECDs, and Verifit2 comparison curve data gathered on different dates are now individually selectable for combined data transfer to support varied clinical workflows.
RMSE normative ranges (Verifit2 only) – Adds RMSE normative ranges for the DSL Adult prescriptive formula to provide additional guidance on the acceptability of the match-to-prescriptive targets.
New View/Format selector (Verifit2 only) – Adds a selectable menu icon to test screens that allows both the view (single or dual) and format (graph or table) to be selected with a single click.
