Verifit2 and Axiom Updates Include New Design and Capabilities
Audioscan announced new software updates for its market-leading Verifit2 and Axiom hearing instrument verification systems February 2, 2023. Benefits include a newly designed Audioscan Noah Module, Direct-to-PC networking, and new audiometric data entry capabilities.
Audioscan Verifit2 and Axiom owners can download and install the 2023.1 software via the Audioscan Noah Module, or by logging into customer.audioscan.com. For Audioscan Noah Module users, it is recommended to update the Audioscan Noah Module to software version 2.26 for access to the latest features and for future compatibility with Audioscan equipment. All udioscan software updates are free.
2023.1 Software Update highlights include a redesign of Audioscan Noah Module, direct-to-PC networking, and improved audiometry entry. The re-designed Audioscan Noah Module optimizes workflow and enhances ease of use, while preserving key features such as Noah 4 data integration, storing and printing of Audioscan measurement results, and Remote Console for displaying and controlling the Verifit2 and Axiom from your PC. New functionality for sending and retrieving Session.XML files allow saving Audioscan measurement data to your PC and restoring an exact copy of the measurement data to your Audioscan equipment at a later point. In addition, there is now the ability to switch Noah 4 patients without closing the module.
Direct-to-PC Networking (Verifit2 and Axiom) is a single cable network connection between the Verifit2 or Axiom and your PC that removes the barrier of configuring Audioscan equipment on an existing network. The feature is especially handy for clinicians that are using equipment portably at locations such as nursing homes, client homes, schools, or satellite clinics, and for any clinic locations that do not have network infrastructure available.
New audiometry entry functions enable quick and precise audiometric data entry on the Verifit2 and Axiom. In addition to enhancing the traditional click-in-graph method, a new virtual keypad and an enlarged single-ear view provide flexible audiometric data entry options.
