The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has published a series of readiness steps for clinic owners, in preparation for opening during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The steps, outlined on the CDC’s website, include taking proactive measures with patients who may be considered “high risk,” and scheduling them for telemedicine appointments, if possible. Additionally, the CDC recommends stocking the waiting room with alcohol-based hand rub and tissues, and separating symptomatic patients from those that are well.
