Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech announced the addition of audiologist Bianca Berkenwald, AuD, to the Clarke Hearing Center team.

Berkenwald, a resident of Northampton, Massachusetts, is an experienced clinical audiologist who supports the hearing health of infants, children, and adults. Her specialties include diagnostics and amplification.

Prior to joining the Clarke Hearing Center, Berkewnald practiced at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Umass Medical Center. During her Clinical rotations, she spent time at  Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates.

“From the moment I met Bianca, her enthusiasm for her work and wealth of knowledge were evident,” says Susan Pepin-Phillips, practice manager of the Clarke Hearing Center. “Her approach is marked by thoughtfulness and compassion, guiding her patients to discover personalized strategies and customized treatments that precisely address their unique audiological needs.”

The Clarke Hearing Center in Northampton has served the Pioneer Valley since 1974. From hearing tests to hearing aids, the Clarke Hearing Center Team offers ongoing support and hearing healthcare. In addition, as a nonprofit organization, proceeds from the Clarke Hearing Center support children who are deaf or hard of hearing and learning to listen and talk at Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech.

The Clarke Hearing Center’s philanthropic approach to hearing health is part of what brought Berkewnald to Clarke. “I’m committed to addressing the hearing needs of my community and working with my patients to improve their quality of life,” she says. “I’m excited to collaborate with an exceptional team and an organization renowned for helping children with hearing loss reach their full potential.”

Berkenwald earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and Doctorate in Audiology from Northeastern University.
