In a recent Engadget article, writer James Trew performs a side-by-side comparison of the newest “flagship offerings” from Phonak and Widex: the Paradise and the Moment.
According to Trew, both hearing aids offer the “basics,” which include discreet design, different hearing modes, and the choice of rechargeability or 312 battery power. Trew notes that the Phonak Paradise’s Bluetooth feature allows it to connect with almost any Bluetooth audio source like a TV, and that some Paradise models have motion sensors that allow the user to double tap to interact with a virtual assistant, play music, or other tasks. He also gives the Widex Moment’s app high marks for its ease-of-use and user- friendly navigation, as well as its audio performance.
