At this year’s 68th International Congress of Hearing Aid Acousticians (EUHA 2024) held Oct. 16-18, 2024 in Hanover, Germany, apprentices and students will be able to attend all three days of the congress free of charge for the first time, according to the organization.
Industry newcomers are granted the opportunity to take part in guided tours, the knowledge symposium, the Congress program, “Future Friday,” and much more free of charge. Young professionals can also meet, exchange ideas, and build their own network at the Meeting Point in the EUHA-Live Area, according to the organization.
Future Friday
Additionally, EUHA detailed the four keynote speakers who will present on important forward-looking topics in hearing aid acoustics during the third day of the event. This offer is free of charge for all congress delegates.
Theresa Schleicher, a renowned retail futurologist, will look at the future of specialist retail and consumer behavior in city centers.
Professor David Matusiewicz, PhD, digital health expert, professor of medical management, and founder and CEO of the DXM Group, will give a talk on the digital transformation in hearing aid acoustics.
Bernd Höing, PhD, from Essen University Hospital, will examine the benefits of cochlear implants, and explain the role of artificial intelligence in predicting hearing outcome after cochlear implantation.
