Apple has issued a warning about Made for iPhone hearing devices that may have sound quality issues when connected to an iPhone 12 that include, “loud static, interrupted or intermittent audio, garbled audio,” according to an article in Forbes.
According to testimonials compiled by Forbes from users on Reddit and Apple Support forums, the iPhone 12 has had problems with “hearing aid connectivity” and “audio cutting out,” when connected to a wide variety of hearing aid brands.
Forbes reports that Apple is aware of the issue and planning to provide a fix in a future software upgrade.
