GN Hearing has announced Scott Davis as president of GN Hearing North America. Davis will join the company June 1.
In this role, Davis will oversee the company’s ReSound, Beltone, Audigy, and FalCom businesses in the United States and Canada. As part of GN Hearing’s global leadership team, he will report directly to GN Hearing CEO Jakob Gudbrand.
Davis brings leadership experience within the global healthcare, med-tech, and life sciences segments, working across all organizational functions including research and development, sales, marketing, and supply chain. Most recently, Davis served as North America CEO on Sivantos’ (formerly Siemens Audiology) executive management team until 2017, and had served as that company’s US division CEO from 2011-2017. He was well respected in the field, and often represented the industry on panels and served on the executive board of the Hearing Industries Association. Before joining Sivantos, he worked at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he was a vice president and managing director, and developed and executed growth strategies for a variety of medical device and biopharmaceutical companies. He has a MBA in Finance and Operations Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a BS in Textile Chemistry from the College of Engineering at Auburn University.
“Scott brings a broad base of experience to our organization at a critical time and in a critical market,” says Gudbrand. “His unique, 360-degree understanding of our industry and all its core businesses will continue to fuel our growth, fulfilling our mission to help people with hearing loss access life-changing, innovative products.”
GN Resound is indeed very fortunate to have Mr. Davis at the USA helm. He is the top of the top! As you can hear, I love this guy and we need more like him in this industry. I am glad you came back. Congratulations and hope to see you soon.
