Grason-Stadler, a provider of clinical audiometric systems, announced the release of a secure, cloud-based data management system, the GSI Cloud.
GSI Cloud is a platform that allows for internet storage and viewing of patient audiologic reports that are generated from GSI instruments. Currently, GSI Cloud is compatible with GSI AMTAS Flex and GSI AMTAS Pro.
“Internet access to audiometric test data anywhere, anytime with GSI Cloud is the logical next step for Grason-Stadler,” says Karen Morris, MS, CCC-A, product manager.
GSI Cloud is available through a yearly subscription. Different subscription levels are designed to meet the needs of all clinics regardless of size. When the GSI Cloud subscription is activated, users register their compatible devices for seamless cloud integration.
Data is automatically uploaded to the secure cloud platform, utilizing Microsoft Azure Cloud, which protects users’ data during the upload process and while in storage. Azure uses state-of-the-art encryption methods, protocols, and algorithms to secure your data. This cloud platform also satisfies various security standards and best practices for cloud services, meeting physical, technical, and administrative safeguards required by HIPAA and the HITECH Act.
Once the data is in the secure database, it can be sorted and tagged based on customizable parameters defined by the user. This makes it easy to keep data organized when it is coming in from different devices in different locations.
