Hearing care professional careers continued to maintain top spots on the U.S. News & World Report’s 100 Best Jobs for 2024 list, with both hearing aid specialist and audiologist careers making the list again.
Hearing aid specialist careers were ranked highly in several of the magazine’s categories. For 2024, hearing aid specialist held the top spot on their list of “Best Jobs Without A College Degree” and moved up 50 points to spot No. 32 on their 100 Best Jobs list. This career segment also was No. 4 on the “Best Health Care Support Job” list. It did move down slightly from No. 8 to the No. 9 spot on the “Highest Paying Jobs without a Degree” list.
Meanwhile, audiologist ranked at 76 on the 100 Best Jobs list, which was up from the No. 90 spot it held in 2023. Audiologist also ranked at No. 20 on the “Best Health Care Jobs” list.
