Hearing Health Foundation (HHF), a nonprofit organization in New York dedicated to preventing and curing hearing loss and tinnitus through research, has announced the appointment of Claire Schultz as chief executive officer.

claire shultz The organization says Schultz has extensive experience in the public and private sectors, most recently as chief external affairs officer of Amnesty International USA. In that role she was responsible for all revenue development, marketing, communications, digital engagement, and entertainment relations. At HHF, Schultz will be responsible for strategic leadership and direction, and helping to increase the organization’s prominence and impact.

Shari Eberts, chair of the board of directors says, “I am delighted to welcome Claire Schultz as our chief executive officer. Claire’s depth of leadership and management experience make her uniquely qualified for this vital role. I am confident that she will galvanize our mission to prevent and cure hearing loss and tinnitus through groundbreaking research through the Hearing Restoration Project, and that she will help navigate a path to build and strengthen HHF with vigor, resolve, and imagination.”

Schultz received her BA in Communications from Tulane University in New Orleans and she has a certificate in linguistic studies from University of East Anglia, Norwich UK.
