Expanding its business development initiatives throughout Australia and New Zealand, Contacta, an assistive living specialist, announced the appointment of Exertis ProAV Australia, part of Stampede and Exertis ProAV, to serve as its value distribution partner to drive sales of its hearing loop and speech transfer systems in the region.
In announcing the appointment, Exertis ProAV Australia President and CEO Kevin Kelly credited the hard work of Exertis ProAV Australia General Manager Nick Cocks in forging the new distribution agreement. “Nick’s 17 years of industry experience played a major role in reaching this agreement with Contacta, a market leader in providing assistive living solutions, and this was a top priority of the company.”
Amplifying Kelly’s point, Cocks noted that, “As a new player in the market with a strong global presence we want to create long-term supplier partnerships as a base for our business. We select the companies we work with very carefully. What attracted us to Contacta was both the quality and the range of their products, with their innovative approach to the market they serve. We always ensure we have the time and resources available to be successful with the brands we represent.”
Commenting on the appointment, Contacta Head of Business Development Ran Meyrav said that, “We are excited to be working with Exertis Australia in this new partnership. This is a strategic market for our export sales, so it was vital to find the right local partner. We felt that Nick and the team shared our vision and commitment to high standards. We both aim to deliver the best solutions for the customer and, ultimately, the user. Exertis offered us nationwide coverage, good access to the market combined with the wealth of know-how they bring to the table. They were the perfect choice and we look forward to working with them.”
