A new webinar featuring Douglas Beck, AuD, and Cliff (“Dr Cliff”) Olson, AuD, and moderated by Hearing Review Editor Karl Strom, addressing issues related to the Covid-19 pandemic is now available for viewing on demand. Recorded on Friday, June 19, 2020, “Hearing Healthcare in the Era of Covid-19” looks at how hearing healthcare practices and the hearing industry have been coping with the challenges brought on by the pandemic, and how Covid-19 might affect long-term trends—including teleaudiology, infection control, OTC devices, and big box retailing—in our field.
Produced by The Hearing Review and sponsored by Hamilton CapTel, the 1-hour webinar can be viewed on-demand here: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/2072899783786088204

Within your webinar, you created a quick poll, which may have been initiated by Hamilton, CapTel. You listed Sycle.net, Blueprint, TIMS and CounselEar. You neglected to include the oldest and most powerful office management system in the industry. HearForm is used by Harvard, Stanford, Yale, Northwestern University and most other major universities, as well as the largest hospital systems, Cigna health, United healthcare and is the choice of informed audiologists throughout the United States.
In the last ADA survey, HearForm was 10 points behind Sycle.net for ADA member usage, but well ahead of the others.
Trust me, 49% of the United States does not go without an OMS system. Please explain the Omission.

Hi Michael: I’m sorry for not including HearForm. The poll only had a capacity for 5 response options, and one of those pretty much had to be “Don’t have a system or another system” which was the 49% answer. But your point is well-taken and I’ll make sure to try to include HearForm in any subsequent surveys! Thanks for your comment.
