The CES Innovation Awards program is an annual competition honoring outstanding design and engineering in 27 consumer technology product categories. A panel of industry expert judges, including members of the media, designers, engineers, and more, reviewed 1,800+ submissions based on innovation, engineering and functionality, aesthetic, and design when selecting this year’s winners, according to the company’s announcement.
“We are extremely proud of this recognition because it validates our team’s commitment to improving lives by improving personal communication,” said Redux Owner/Founder, Reuben Zielinski. “Hearing aids, hearables, and other ear-worn devices are evolving every day, but one constant that remains is that those are all susceptible to moisture damage. We’re grateful for the Innovation Awards committee for recognizing the professional solution Redux brings to that costly problem.”
With the push of a button, the Redux system “safely and completely removes moisture from hearing aids, implants, and hearables in just minutes while providing verification of amount removed.” Redux’s patented technology creates a vacuum to lower the evaporation point of water and then applies heat to remove moisture from both traditionally powered and rechargeable devices.
The in-office system is “designed to be a revenue-generating opportunity for practices by improving hearing device function, saving valuable office time, reducing costly instrument returns, and improving patient experience.”
