Redux announced that its professional hearing instrument drying system has been selected as an honoree for the Consumer Electronics Show 2022 Innovation Awards in the Accessibility category

The CES Innovation Awards program is an annual competition honoring outstanding design and engineering in 27 consumer technology product categories. A panel of industry expert judges, including members of the media, designers, engineers, and more, reviewed 1,800+ submissions based on innovation, engineering and functionality, aesthetic, and design when selecting this year’s winners, according to the company’s announcement.

With the push of a button, the Redux system “safely and completely removes moisture from hearing aids, implants, and hearables in just minutes while providing verification of amount removed.” Redux’s patented technology creates a vacuum to lower the evaporation point of water and then applies heat to remove moisture from both traditionally powered and rechargeable devices.
The in-office system is “designed to be a revenue-generating opportunity for practices by improving hearing device function, saving valuable office time, reducing costly instrument returns, and improving patient experience.”
