Bhubanswar, India — The International Symposium on Audiological Medicine (ISAM) – 2011 will be held December 10 to December 12, 2011, in Bhubanswar, Orissa, India. Abstracts for the conference may still be submitted until November 15.
Topics for papers may include hearing sciences, infant and adult diagnostic testing, implantable hearing systems, medical conditions associated with hearing impairment, and medications causing hearing loss; tinnitus; frontier areas for research; vestibular/balance disorders; auditory processing disorders; auditory neuropathy; and other related hearing health issues.
ISAM in India provides a platform to hearing health researchers to share their knowledge with the professional audiology medical community.
In addition to scientific presentations, the 2011 conference will include presentation for the ISAM Award for young scientists, the Usoolsen Kerketta Award for Best College in India for Audiology Education, an ISAM video contest, and Best Clinician awards.
