MedRx Inc announced the release of its newest products; the Otowave 302 and 302+ Tympanometers. The Otowave 302 and 302+ Tympanometer models were released for sale at the end of November and are currently available in the United States and select countries. This tympanometer will be the first MedRx tympanometer intended for desktop use in an office or clinical setting.
MedRx Diagnostic tympanometers allow hearing care professionals to conduct tympanometry and acoustic reflex testing. The new 302 models feature a 226 probe tone; +200daPa to -400daPa pressure range; programmable 500, 1k, 2k, and 4k ipsilateral and contralateral reflex functions; and a 70 to 100dB reflex range. The internal memory can store up to 36 patient results and easily be transferred to patient management systems with MedRx STUDIO and Noah compatibility. In addition to the features included with the standard 302, the 302+ conducts 1000 Hz probe tones for pediatric patients and has six customizable patient profile buttons to ensure more efficient testing.
MedRx also offers three other tympanometer options in the Otowave line, including the 102 Screening Tympanometer, 202 Handheld Diagnostic Tympanometer, and the 202H—a high-frequency version of the 202 for use with pediatric patients.
