According to an article published in the Edinburgh Evening News, Edinburgh, Scotland, a musical penned by a composer for deaf individuals with hearing implants is going on the road.
Deacon, composed by Zack Moir, 24, an Edinburgh University student, will begin its tour in Glasgow later this month.
Moir was approached by the manufacturers of cochlear implants, which allow deaf people to hear through advanced technology. As some notes sound shrill with the implants, he wrote the music especially to sound pleasant to their users.
