My Hearing Centers (MHC) will become part of WS Audiology’s (WSA) HearUSA retail unit, according to a press statement by the company. The current management team will continue to run the business. Headquartered in Sandy, Utah, MHC reportedly has about 100 offices in the western United States (CO, ID, MT, NV, OR, UT, WA, WY, AR). The My Hearing Centers brand and operations have 166 employees, with an annual revenue of more than $30 million.
WSA is the parent group of Sivantos (Signia) and Widex, which merged the companies in 2019, and includes the brands Signia, Rexton, Audio Service and Vibe, in addition to diverse assets across wholesale, retail, online, managed care, and diagnostic solutions. WS Audiology employs 11,000 people and is privately owned by the Tøpholm and Westermann families in Denmark, as well as funds under the management of EQT.
“We know the WS Audiology team for many years,” says Dave Larsen, President of Auralcare. “They have been great partners in getting My Hearing Care to where we are today.”
“My Hearing Centers is a strong brand that complements the HearUSA retail business of WSA,” said Craig Cameron, CEO US Retail. “The management team has shown great skill in growing the chain and we look forward to working closely together.”
