Neuro Kinetics Inc, Pittsburgh, recently released version 6.7 of its proprietary VEST control and analysis software, which incorporates more than 70 new features and enhancements to enable clinicians to conduct a larger array of patient tests and generate more accurate data to improve diagnosis. The upgraded software also improves the functionality of the company’s evaluation equipment.
VEST software is used by audiologists, neurologists, neuro-otologists, ophthalmologists, otolaryngologists, and other medical specialists to undertake patient evaluations and then analyze data generated through an array of motion, ocular motor, and nystagmus tests. Based on National Instruments technology, VEST includes reporting features for reimbursable tests, built-in analytical tools, and normative data for comparative analysis.
Features include improved user controls over video recordings for VNG and VOG users, and new binocular VOG recording compatibility.
