Signia announced the launch of Signia Learn, an online learning destination for hearing care professionals (HCPs) seeking on-demand information, peer interaction, and live and recorded courses, including many that offer continuing education (CEU) requirements. With this new platform, Signia helps “to support HCPs by providing the latest information and expertise to help them attract more patients, retain existing ones, and ultimately improve hearing aid wearer satisfaction.”

“Hearing care professionals want an easy, centralized way to stay on top of hearing aid technology, while also following industry trends, refreshing their knowledge of audiology fundamentals, and discovering new treatment options, techniques, and equipment,” said Dr Leanne Powers, Signia’s director of professional education. “Signia Learn brings together all this education in one place, along with access to virtual events, demonstrations, interactive courses, and other ways of engaging directly with Signia experts and each other.”

Signia Learn offers a mix of live and recorded, on-demand courses, helping to “empower users to enhance their performance as hearing care professionals by continually expanding their knowledge.” According to the company, it was developed to integrate seamlessly with Signia’s online platforms, creating a single sign-on experience that makes accessing education content as easy as clicking a web link.

Through Signia Learn, HCPs can filter courses, videos, and other content to find the training they need. For courses that offer continuing education credit, Signia Learn lets users track their CEUs. They can also download CEU completion certificates and transcripts.

“We’ve designed Signia Learn to offer a breadth of learning tools,” Powers continued. “With a mix of foundational and advanced courses; hands-on demonstrations; and short, convenient micro-lessons, Signia Learn has something for every HCP trying to stay on top of their profession, achieve their business goals, and build and maintain relationships with patients.”

Most HCP users will access Signia Learn through their mySignia accounts. Members of the Signia Aspire Rewards program, benefit from tiered access to education content, exclusive courses about developing their practice, and other benefits. Other groups, such as audiology students, can obtain login information to access Signia Learn directly.

Signia’s education offerings will continue to appear on other online learning platforms, but Signia Learn courses will cover a broader selection of topics, often in greater depth than those offered through more general outlets.

“Hearing care professionals are always learning,” Powers concluded. “With the convenience of Signia Learn, they’re able to balance their training and industry engagement with their commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.”
