The Audéo B-Direct hearing aid from Phonak, a global provider of hearing instruments and wireless communication solutions, announced it was named the winner of a Silver Stevie® Award in the new product category in the 16th Annual American Business Awards®.
According to Phonak, Audéo B-Direct is a “revolutionary” hearing aid that directly connects to any Bluetooth-enabled cell phone. The Audéo B-Direct is designed to automatically sense the user’s surroundings and to make adjustments that enable them to hold conversations in noisy environments, answer phone calls without having to touch their phones, and enjoy what is said to be a “theater-quality” listening experience while watching movies and television shows at home.
All organizations operating in the US are eligible to submit nominations to the American Business Award—public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word meaning “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York on Monday, June 11.
