Starkey Hearing Technologies, Eden Prairie, Minn, and Widex-USA Inc, Hauppauge, NY, say they are providing $160,000 over the next 3 years to the Accreditation Commission for Audiology Education (ACAE). The funding is to recognize the important role ACAE accreditation plays in raising the bar in audiology education, according to ACAE.
Starkey Hearing Technologies President Jerry Ruzica and Widex USA President Rodney Schutt say they welcome the opportunity to support ACAE. The ACAE board of directors stated that it “highly commends Starkey Hearing Technologies and Widex-USA Inc for their profound commitment to the highest quality in audiology education and to the profession.”
